Posting, Beanies, and Posies

I admit it - I got so caught up in the wonders of Ravelry that I almost forgot all about this blog. Oops! So here is an actual post!

I finished a couple of things yesterday. These are from the Boy Beanie pattern in SnB's HH book. I think they turned out good.

And if I don't forget about them, I'll give them to my nephew for Christmas next year. Both were made using Plymouth Galway worsted yarn. And, of course, the black and gold is for USM (University of Southern Mississippi). Go Eagles!!

My next major crochet project will be this from the latest issue of Interweave Crochet, The Ring Around the Posie top...

The yarn is a cotton blend in a lovely lilac color for a cute little spring-time top. I'm going to try to keep posting updates of my progress on this. (I'm going to try to start posting my regularly again.)
